Scout Programs Heritage Farm Museum staff can lead scouts through the requirements for badges, patches, and achievements. Interactive, hands-on, supplemental material included. BROWNIES-LISTENING TO THE PAST (Grades 1-3) Learn how children lived a long time ago. Document your own life and practice listening to histories of your friends and family to create an oral history.   $5.00/Scout BROWNIES-PENNY POWER TRY IT (Grades 1-3) Learn the basics of managing money. Class utilizes the Waxpool General Store and children's play area. Includes a visit to the gift shop and a take-home treat.  $5.00/Scout  BROWNIES-PLANTS TRY IT (Grades 1-3) Be a scientist for a day as we explore, observe, create, measure, and document. Includes a short tour and two hands-on experiments.   $5.00/Scout JRGS LOCAL LORE BADGE (Grades 4-6) Read all about it, sing someone's praises, practice word of mouth, focus on the future, tour your community, and take pride in your heritage. Use our Local Lore packet to complete the six requirements.                        $5.00/Scout  SRGS INTEREST PROJECT – WOMEN THROUGH TIME (Grades 6-8) Complete Skills Builders, Technology, Service Projects, and Career Exploration projects with our qualified staff.  $5.00/Scout TIGER CUB ACHIEVEMENT-MAKING MY FAMILY SPECIAL (Grades 1-2) Compare family life years ago to family life today. Play games from the past, practice chores, and start a scrapbook to help preserve your history.   $5.00/Scout BEAR CUB ACHIEVEMENT- WHAT MAKES AMERICA SPECIAL? (Grades 3-5) Learn what it means to be a good citizen and how ordinary people serve their country. Practice the flag ceremony and participate in activities to build your community.  $5.00/Scout EAGLE SCOUT AND GOLD AWARD PROJECT (Grades 9-12) We work with you to develop a project to meet your needs.
